The Mandala Group launches ‘Competition in Clearing & Settlement Report’ at the FinClear Forum

On September 14 FinClear hosted 90+ clients, shareholders, regulators and industry experts at the FinClear Forum at MA Financial in Sydney, where it launched the recently commissioned Mandala Report on competition in Clearing & Settlement.

As part of FinClear’s ongoing commitment to highlighting the importance of Australia having a world leading Clearing & Settlement system, it recently commissioned an in-depth research report to explore the need to modernise Australia’s current system.

The report titled From Laggard to Leader: Why the capabilities that power Australia’s Clearing & Settlement services are falling behind global leaders, and how we can get back to the front of the pack. Was presented by Lindsay Jones from the Mandala Group.

As well as launching the report David Ferrall was also joined by Greg Medcraft, a well respected high profile industry expert and former ASIC chairman who echoed the findings published in the report as well as the sentiments put forward in David’s presentation which also covered technology and what we are doing at FinClear with FCX. The event was officially opened by Chris Barter.
