David is a highly experienced financial services executive with more than 30 years in financial and investment markets. He has built and managed businesses in Australia, Asia and Japan for companies including CBA, Shinsei Bank, JPMorgan and Citigroup.
David has over 30 years of broad experience in financial services, including as CEO of listed insurer Tower Insurance Limited, Executive General Manager at CBA and senior management roles at JPMorgan across Asia. David recently retired from his role as an Executive Director and Group Head at Afterpay Touch Group Limited.
Chris has over 35 years’ experience in the trading and clearing of securities in Australian and overseas investment markets. He was appointed Chief Operating Officer of BNP Paribas’ Australian stockbroking and investment banking operations in 2000. In 2002 he was a founding director of LINWAR Securities where he was Chief Operating Officer until 2012 when LINWAR was taken-over by ANZ Banking Group.
Tony LynchDirector (FinEx)
Tony is a highly experienced executive specializing in Financial Services and in particular Wealth Management, Broking and Financial Advisory. He has held senior management and board level roles both in Australia and Europe including several start-up and early stage growth companies. He previously held the position of CFO at Pershing Securities, a BNY Mellon company.
Steve has extensive experience in capital markets having raised in excess of A$50bn across numerous jurisdictions. Currently serving on the Boards of ASX listed ReNu Energy (Chairman) and Litigation Capital Management as well as numerous private companies, Steve’s career included capital markets executive roles at JPMorgan in Sydney and London.
Chris is a seasoned venture investor and accomplished finance leader with a long track record of building profitable businesses and generating strong returns.
Prior to co-founding King River, Chris has long been a dedicated global venture capital investor. He launched two fund management platforms along with partners that collectively raised in excess of US$600M, and has led investor syndicates in multi-stage software ventures via CKA Capital and other entities resulting in 28 early to mid-stage investments.
Chris spent the first nineteen years of his career at Goldman Sachs, where he was a Partner and was based in Frankfurt, London and Moscow. He was Co-Head of the European Financial Institutions Group in the Investment Banking Division, and in that role co-founded a funds management business which today commands a multi-billion dollar market valuation.
In addition to FinClear Chris serves on the boards of Ariadne Australia (ASX-listed), CNG Fuels and on the advisory board of GreenSync. He also serves on the President’s Leadership Council at Brown University.
Chris obtained a BSc in Physics from Brown University and an MSc in Physics from Harvard University.
